An old growth white oak leg structure is made from spindly "scrap"" cutoffs of one of our custom reclaimed tables. Long before then, this wood was an oak tree of a size that no longer graces the Earth. The lamp shade (which we found discarded in a heap) is aimable, thanks to the ball bearing weilding strut tower mount from Justin's old car, and everything is attached with components from Re-Store. The various metals had all developed patinas and a bit of corrosion. We gently cleaned everything up and finished it with beeswax and tung oil to prevent further decay. The cord is cloth covered, made in the U.S., from Sundial Wire
