An antique oak pallet gets a new life as a coffee table. The boards and rusted cast iron framing, once covered in oil and friction tape, have been cleaned up with plant based soaps and elbow grease. Boards bear original saw and wear marks, and bare metal shines through worn black finish. We added a reclaimed oak riser to give it a little more height. The wood is finished with hardwax oil, the metal is beeswaxed and polished to prevent any further decay.
