The 412 Chair's frame is crafted from old growth white oak reclaimed from the beams of a stricken barn in Ohio. Hand carved bridle joints assure strength while keeping the frame visually and physically light. The oak is finished with hardwax-oil that is strong, incredibly smooth, and easy to touch up. The seat and back are padded with super thick, untreated, 100% wool felt, and the removable covers are hand sewn from 90% wool industrial felt. This chair is going into limited production soon, and will be available in a variety of woods and felt colors. We're accepting preorders, contact us if you're interested.
